Successful fashion influencers can be defined by how they respond to two underlining factors.
The first, is whether they can adapt within a rapidly changing and diverse industry, which has seen monumental movements since the 1980s.
The second, is more rooted with the ever growing use and application of the Internet, and how this this has changed the canonical paradigm of communication. Today, there is a much broader and freer exchange of information between brands and consumers and these falling barriers are certain to alter or challenges existing perceptions and connections both in terms of space and time but also predefined hierarchies.
Since everyone is able to express their personal point of view, including the world of fashion, how can a fashion influencer hope to stand out? And when considering their role, is this simply what a fashion influencer is expected to do?
The induction of fashion influencers was intially assessed with scepticism and suspicion. Then when it was granted permission from the inner circles, monitored carefully to ensure that it was providing information that was consistent to the brand’s existing identity. Then, finally considered reputable enough to create added value for the traditional entourage of fashion i.e. the publishing houses and certified sellers / wholesalers who passed the information through the network of fashion insiders.
To date, the digital landscape is as vast as it is fragmented. As of 2018, there are several hundred thousand influencers in every sector and fashion is no exception. It is clear, therefore, that what matters and will make a difference to each influencer is to create and build a tone of voice that manages to stand out and effectively promote your work as a individual.
In an era in which the web has become an inflexible mirror of what we are and what we do, influencers need to rethink and rethink about every bit of content they produce with an open mindset. Thanks to specific marketing and web marketing skills, influencers can be skilled on how to tackle the dynamics within digital communication, whilst endulging in their creativity and personality; whilst being flexibile and mindful of the direction they wish to project the industry for future generations.
Bat Radar aims to tackle these issues from a theoretical, strategic and practical point of view. Encouraging influencers to focus on basic themes for the creation and strategic management of their personal brand, and tailor-make their own bespoke products and experiences.
We will start by establishing a broad and clear background that is built and focused on elaborating its tie ins with both digital communication and web marketing. Bat Radar know the landscape of the influencer marketing, and has followed its evolution over time and knowns how to take advantage of growing opportunities and pitfalls within the industry.
